Back to work!

It has been such a busy few weeks! The ‘No 2 Pery Square’ project is in the editing phase. I really can’t wait to see how it all turns out. It was such a fantastic experience. Our initial disappointment at the cancellation of the project due to COVID 19 soon dissipated when we discovered the exciting pivot that was planned. Maybe this will be a new genre of opera… ‘Opera Short Film’! It was so interesting to work on a film set. To see how the craft of Opera and Film Making could combine in this fairly new art form. Although it did get me thinking about the wonderful TV footage in the 1960s when Opera appeared regularly on TV screens…. Maybe it can make a TV comeback!

In the meantime, its time for me to get back to work. I wonder what shape these pieces are in now? I must go and warm up…
