These recordings were recorded in very different, yet equally beautiful spaces.
‘Once Upon a Dream’ from Jekyll & Hyde was recorded in January 2022 during a break from teaching at the Cistercian College in Roscrea. I couldn’t resist the fabulous acoustic of the room.
‘L’ultima ebberezza’ by Ottorino Respighi is accompanied here by Seho Lee. We recorded it at a Lunctime Concert which was held at Mary Immaculate Chapel in February 2020.
Cleopatra’s aria ‘E pur cosi in un giorno…Piangero la sorte mia’ from GUILIOCESARE by G.F. Handel is accomanied here by Thomas Doyle. We recorded this aria in the Curtis Auditorium at the Cork School of Music in November 2017.

Based on the poem Covid-1 by Mary Coll featuring soprano Triona Walsh and recordings of Tony Holohan at Department of Health briefings in March 2020. She Moved Through the Fair
This gorgeous accompaniment was improvised by Irina Dernova (Piano) and Liam Monagher (Violin) at a Lunchtime Concert which was held at St Mary’s Cathedral in Limerick. Magicians the two of them! Sincere apologies to Liam that he isn’t in this photo. I’m so sorry Liam, after all of your magical work.
Maura’s LOVE IRELAND
In August 2019 the stunning Maura Higgins of ‘Love Island’ fame, returned to explore the beautiful sights of Ireland and to visit her home town. She was recording a series for This Morning with Phillip & Holly on ITV. I was lucky enough to meet her and to show her around one of my favourite places in the world, Dunguaire Castle, which is located on Galway Bay, walking distance from Kinvara in County Galway. If you ever have the opportunity to visit this lovely town, you should take it! During my time as an actor and singer with Shannon Heritage, I was lucky enough to perform at the Banquets at both Bunratty and Dunguaire Castles.
